Our school is great. Today saw Acorn class closer to home. 18months ago children helped to plant some trees in a local field and so we went to check on progress. We took advantage of the great views with Y2 carrying out some field sketches and Reception and Y1 going on an antler hunt with great success!!

Dartmoor Prison Museum
Yesterday we visited Dartmoor Prison museum and learnt lots about it’s history. As part of our History and Geography week, it gave the children a unique insight in to what happens on Dartmoor which may have been a little bit of a surprise for some. Graham who worked in the Prison told us lots of fascinating stories – it was definitely a trip to remember!
PE in Acorn
Fridays mean PE! We’re concentrating on cricket and activities for Sports Day this half term. Achieve 4 All join us and show us some great games and help with skill development.
